Church gathering update

Dear CBC Family,

I just wanted to take a moment and send out our most recent update. It will be short to simply answer a few questions that have come up and give a few reminders.

I want to truly encourage and exhort you to please maintain all faithfulness to participate during these scheduled times, and here are a few things to be ready for during the service.

Brother Matt Garvin will be leading us in worship through song so be ready to sing praises to our Lord together from your home just as if we were gathered together. We will be continuing in our studies of Matthew 21 in the morning and Nehemiah in the evening for this week. This Wednesday at 6:30 we will have an online service. Many of you have asked about getting your offerings in, here are a few ways to do that...

-You can mail your check to:
 Community Baptist Church

Stuart, FL 34997
(we just installed a locked mailbox that will stop any concerns regarding theft)

-You can now give online through our website https://www.cbcstuart.com/giving Click on the “online giving” option and follow the prompts.

Our church office will be open next week but on a revised schedule which will be posted by this Monday afternoon. We do encourage you to heed our government's recommendations and utilize the phone lines primarily. We are available and stand ready to serve the needs of our church family. Please contact the office next week or the cell numbers posted below if any needs arise. As a reminder, ALL church gatherings are suspended for the time being, which means unless you are contacted specifically all meetings and Bible studies are suspended at the moment.

I will say that even as I am thankful that we have the technology to host our services during these difficult times, you all are sorely missed and I am longing for the time when we can gather in person again! But in the meantime….

Philippians 4:4-7
4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!
5 Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near.
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
