Norm Kuglin | Elder

Having Godly parents helped Norm accept Christ as personal Savior at the age of seven, commit himself to God's service, and begin to learn how to follow God's leading. Norm's life has been a series of God directed events ever since. Norm was headed to a State college after high school graduation, with the intention of pursuing teaching as a career. Five weeks before classes began God used a fellow counselor at summer Bible camp to redirect him to Bible school at Oak Hills Bible Institute, and then three years later to Bethel College to finish a four year degree. During that time God gave him his life time helper, Raylyn. Together they have been heavily involved in the ministry of the local church, - Sunday school, youth ministry, camp ministry, board member, etc, while working construction and tree trimming & removal to keep eating. Eventually God lead to serve full time for eight years with a mission work sending Bible lessons around the world. Through contacts made in that work, God inspired them to start Missionary Service & Supply International (MSSI) for the purpose of helping supply missionary work in third world countries, and helping with as much construction work as possible as God supplies.

Norm and Raylyn have two married children, a daughter and a son, both missionaries in foreign cuntries. Though they miss seeing either family very often, they rejoice in the relationship enjoyed with both, and would rather have them on the other side of the world serving God than living next door while out of fellowship with their Heavenly Father.
At present Norm serves as an Elder at Community Baptist Church, Community Christian Acaddemy school board member, leader in Kids 4 Truth, and works part time doing maintenance at the church & school, going on mission trips as often as possible. He has no thought of doing less as long as God gives him the strength to continue. “I''d rather burn out than rust out” is his philosophy of life, and so far God seems to be giving a good supply of fuel.
